Do You Know The Serial Number For 'The Sims 3'?
I know that they only make 10,000 or so numbers because, if they mix up an instruction manual and a disk, they end up with multiple unhappy customers, so there are only so many.
If one does not work, it was ether a fake, or the system has received too many copies of that number within a specified amount of time...
At least, that is how for other games - "The Sims" does a lot of things differently.

I know where it is - you know how there is a booklet in the box? When you turn it over, there is supposed to be a code on top of it.
Every game has its own serial code, so if you ask for someone else's, it won't really work, I don't think. Just look in the manual on the back - it should be printed at the top.
Don't ever ever give out a serial code! Never! Because people can just copy the disc, and not buy it for themselves. Don't ever give out a code!
